OUR INSPIRATION:
HOW and WHY NANOCAP GEMS WAS CREATED: In
the late 90's, a little known company named
Illumina, had been created, and at the time,
they were just a small, speculative "nano-cap-size
company" in the vast bio-tech market. It was selling for pennies as recently as
2004...just a mere speck on an investor's
radar screen. However,
this was a stock soon discovered, and
written about, by a few publications, since
the very start of this decade.
One of those publications was a paper
magazine, specializing in technology
information, media, among other things,
called Red
Herring. Red Herring's
technology magazine, started way back in the
90's, was noted as being a "voice" for CEO's
of the "Dot Com era". This
tech
magazine actually had some real substance to it, and
had the uncanny knack of spotting a promising company
or two, every now and
then! Today, Illumina, symbol ILMN,
that little-known, micro-size company
just a few years back, is now selling with a market cap of over 5 billion
dollars! Red Herring had actually
found this little known company long before
the rest of Wall Street did! This was fascinating, and really helped shape
the idea and foundation of our NanoCap Gems! We are attempting to
follow in Red Herring's footsteps, as this
magazine serves as a great inspiration for
our site. We look to help investors
discover small company's with fabulous
potential, and share with them the
hard-to-find information and secrets we might uncover. And who knows, maybe
these finds will lead us to discover another Illumina!?
